That's my little rescue dog, Smooch standing on a piece of fabric my friend, Robin gave me.  The real gift she gave me, though, was teaching me to sew. A simple piece of cloth is a welcome present indeed, but including the names of my dog and my cat on the jersey knit have made it something I will always treasure. And so my journey began with a fussy cat, a rescue dog, a piece of cloth, and a sewing tutorial.

I created this site to showcase and sell a limited number of quilts, many of which incorporate my embroidery and painting into their designs. Each quilt is 100% cotton and has been machine washed and air dried after I've sewed it. My quilts are smaller and lighter than full-sized quilts. All are different dimensions, rather than standard sizes. Why is this? I go where my creativity, fabric designs, embroidery layouts, and artwork take me. Descriptions are below. 

Napper (doll) quilts are for little ones with big imaginations who want to put their dolls to sleep, swaddle their "babies", or perhaps pretend the family pooch (or cat, if she'll allow it--mine certainly wouldn't) is an infant human! Starting at $75 plus shipping.

Wrapper quilts are more rectangular than the Lapper and are meant to go around your shoulders on a brisk morning or a chilly evening. Starting at $225 plus shipping.
